Materials for teens today are dealing with many more real life situations. Stories and non-fiction materials show teens dealing with situations that are covered by world wide news, but they are dealing with the everyday part of the news stories; how their daily lives are changed by war, intrigue, terrorism and just the daily stresses of living in this time period. Most characters show they learn and suceed in their problemetic society.Sometimes teens need to see others their age struggle and succeed.
